Balmer has performed with an impressive line of talented musicians including Andy Narrel, Jim Pepper, David Friesen, Glen Moore, Joey Defrancesco, and the late Red Mitchell, but is best known for his collaboration with keyboardist Tom Grant. Dan has released six CDs under his own name appeared on dozens of others. He is also an in demand teacher, having taught at Universities and workshops from Alaska to Southern California.
